Vanilla Bean Pancakes with Grapefruit Syrup

1 Porterhouse Steak Cut

¼ Cup of Winter Sweetz Grapefruit Juice

2 Tablespoons of Lime Juice

½ Teaspoon of Minced Ginger or Garlic

1 Teaspoon of Brown Sugar

Salt and Pepper to Season

1 Avocado

2 Tablespoons of Sour Cream

Cilantro for Garnish


Pat steak dry and place inside of a sealable plastic bag. To the bag, add grapefruit juice, lime juice, minced ginger/garlic, brown sugar and salt and pepper to taste. Let it sit and marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

In a medium size pan or on a stovetop grill, add some oil and cook the marinated steak to your liking then let it rest. In the meantime, cut and scoop avocado into a mixing bowl, add sour cream and combine until smooth. Add a splash of water to thin it out if needed. Slice steak, plate and top with avocado sauce and chopped cilantro.
